  I gave one star because 0 was not an option.We were trying to set up the memorial service and cremation for my father in law.We never had a price or any information or tips on planning(such as flower,cards,pictures) During the meeting 3 hours prior to the service we went over the prices.Unbelievable mark up.Not to mention the condescending tone of Todd.Handed him the phone so the person paying for all of this could talk to him and he stopped her mid sentence and gave the phone back.Also,since when is it professional to walk away and shut the office door while someone who is or was going to rather have you take care of their funeral needs.It was the most ridiculous and childish thing i have ever seen.Bottom line 3 hours prior to memorial service we cancelled it.

  It's not easy to lose a loved one but Torkelson's made my experience of planning the funeral easy and comfortable. They went "above and beyond" and thought of everything: signature book, offerings, thank you cards, flowers, programs... Many of the attendees said that they had never been to a more beautiful funeral and I would have to agree with them. Todd and Mandy were very sensitive and caring and Todd even checked on me periodically throughout the funeral to make sure I was hydrated, or to see if I needed a break from greeting guests.
  
  Obviously I hope to never need to plan another funeral but if I do I will only ever hire Torkelson's. My experience with them was better than excellent.
